About The Charity

Money raised from this campaign will be used to benefit the Against Malaria Foundation (AMF). AMF helps save lives by distributing long lasting insecticide nets (LLINs) to people at risk of contracting malaria in areas of the world that do not have the resources to treat malaria. According to our research, and the research of other third party organizations, this is the most cost effective way to save lives in a repeatable manner.

Malaria is the single largest killer of pregnant women and 70% of all malaria deaths are children under the age of 5. Approximately 400,000+ die from this disease each year.

We estimate that it takes approximately 651 LLINs to result in one life saved. $100 will help purchase and distribute approximately 18 LLINs. With an all-in estimated cost of $3,400 per life saved, this program is among the world's most cost effective ways to save a persons life.
